Body Armor

BMIDefenseSystems offers a wide range of body armor and personal protection equipment, including equine armor and canine (K-9) armor, ballistic vests, and our Air Warrior Rescue Harness. We design custom body armor solutions for our customers based on their individual needs and specs by gathering consumer feedback and rapid prototyping.

Dog / K-9 / Equine Armor

BMIDefenseSystems has created a comfortable dog/K-9 ballistic armor vest customized to fit the dog and meet the handler's preferences. All other vests claim to be comfortable and allow ease of movement, but we take it a step further and fit the vest to the dog; maximizing its ability to have full range of motion.

Buying commercial, off-the-shelf products won't address different heating and cooling needs based on geographical location. BMIDefenseSystems can customize the vest with cooling packs, mesh panels, gear stowage, MOLLE bags, straps and grab handles, and harness attachments for zip lines, rappelling or strapping the dog on the handler's back for quick extraction. Available using NIJ Level II and IIIA with stab protection.

Ballistic Vests

BMIDefenseSystems' custom ballistic vests are manufactured to meet your specific needs. We have a wide variety of MOLLE and pouch adaptable integrated ballistic vests and will custom design them to your specifications.

Air Warrior Rescue Harness

The Air Warrior Primary Survival Gear Carrier (PSGC) Assembly is currently used by Army pilots and crewman in various types of aircrafts and currently integrates with several other Air Warrior assemblies such as the Low Profile Flotation Collar, Over Water Gear Carrier and the Universal Holster System. This vest/harness system has a very wide range of adjustability and is designed to fit the vast majority of all air crewmen.

The PSGC has ten pouches which are integrated into the vest harness assembly. These pouches can be worn simultaneously and are capable of holding various survival gear and equipment such as first aid, signaling and communication devices. If it becomes necessary for aircrew to quickly egress from the aircraft they are already equipped with essential survival gear designed to maximize their survivability on the ground. When terrain or other circumstances eliminate landing as an option, crew can easily be extracted or inserted into an area without the need for additional harnesses or equipment.

This lightweight system has been combat proven to provide enhanced survivability and mission performance while decreasing the bulk of previous systems.
