BMIDefenseSystems specializes in rapid prototype development and manufacturing. We work with our customers from concept through completion to design and manufacture custom components to fit their specific needs. We truly pride ourselves in being able to quickly produce a prototype, fit it to the vehicle, make adjustments and move it into the mass production stage.
In working with various PM offices or other corporations and their engineers, our engineers and prototyping team help get soldiers the right equipment when they need it most, right now.
One such example is the Scout Hatch Block that was manufactured for PM LAV.
The Hatch Block delivers additional ballistic protection to the gunner while preventing IED blast over-pressure closing of the hatch during combat actions.
