BMIDefenseSystems, Inc. (formerly known as BMICombatSystems) is a Native American, woman-owned small business in Bryan, Texas. Formed in 2004, our purpose is to protect the warfighter by developing safer and superior equipment positively impacting mission success.

BMIDefenseSystems is ISO 9001-2008 Certified, has a DCMA approved Quality Management System (QMS) and has a DCAA approved accounting system.

BMIDefenseSystems was certified in March 2008 as an 8(a) Program Participant and a Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) by the U.S. Small Business Administration.

In March 2010, BMIDefenseSystems received the Nunn-Perry Award honoring their success as an outstanding protege to BAE Systems in their Mentor-Protege Agreement administered by the Department of Defense Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization.

In addition, BMI Defense Systems is also a member of the Department of Defense (DoD) Indian Incentive Program (IIP).

BMIDefenseSystems specializes in developing and manufacturing components and accessories for military vehicles with an emphasis in force protection.

Our engineers and designers have extensive experience in the military and custom armor fields.

BMIDefenseSystems' proven innovations for vehicle systems set the standard for our production of many new products that empower our customers across the globe.
