Overview

BMIDefenseSystems (formerly BMICombatSystems) is a force protection product developer that specializes in survivability equipment, blunt force trauma protection and accessories for military vehicles, soldiers, homeland security and first responders. Rapid design and prototyping to support the U.S. Military have been our hallmark since formation of the company. Our work is symbolized by the core values of Safety, Survival and Security, which clearly encompasses our many popular products such as the Gunner Accessory Package (GAP), MRAP Gunner Protection Package, custom ballistic blankets (spall liners), Energy Attenuating Sling Seats, RPG defeat system integration, Blunt Force Trauma Protection Kit, Air Warrior PSGC and gunner platforms.

BMIDefenseSystems is not just about products, it's about the people who use our defense equipment, tactical gear and vehicle upgrades. Our goal isn't just a great life-saving product, but rather a great warfighter.

Capabilities

Working with Program Manager's offices and field level units, our engineering services have created products such as vehicle extraction ropes, tow bars, ballistic blankets, energy attenuating gunner platforms, energy attenuating gunner seating, and gunner seating and restraint systems.

Our force protection solutions are used in the HMMWV, LAV, MTVR, MRAP, ITV, LVS and Stryker as well as others and are adaptable to all military platforms. Custom sewing and metal fabrication capabilities have made us a first-class provider of uniquely designed and manufactured protective equipment for the changing war and homeland security environments.

BMIDefenseSystems engineering and prototyping team strives for superior customer service while developing a reliable solution to the threats our soldiers and first responders face.

BMIDefenseSystems may occasionally recruit for Mechanical/Industrial Engineers and Drafstpersons with experience using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or ProE.

BMIDefenseSystems was a 2012 recipient of the Better Business Bureau's Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics. Torch Awards are given by the Better Business Bureau to recognize businesses and executives exhibiting integrity in the marketplace and exemplary dedication to advancing trust between businesses and consumers.

On February 13, 2012 the BMIDefenseSystems family along with friends and the Bryan/College Station Chamber of Commerce joined together for the official ribbon cutting of our new location.
